These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bavua application and services provided by CodeGen Technologies (Pty) Ltd (“CodeGenTech,” “we,” “us”), a company registered in South Africa.

By using Bavua, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • “Bavua” refers to our screen mirroring and extension application.
  • “Service” refers to all Bavua software, applications, and related services.
  • “User,” “you,” “your” refers to anyone who uses the Service.
  • “Device” refers to any hardware on which Bavua is installed.
  • “Content” refers to any data, images, or information displayed via Bavua.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bavua. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.

3. Account Registration

  • You may use Bavua's basic features without an account. Advanced features require account creation.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Subscription Tiers

  • Bavua Lite: Free tier with limited features
  • Bavua Pro: Paid tier at $4.99/month or $39.99/year
  • Bavua Ultra: Premium tier at $8.99/month or $74.99/year

4.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until period end
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice

4.3 Refunds

  • 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers
  • Refunds processed within 5-10 business days
  • Contact billing@bavua.app for refund requests

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use Bavua for illegal activities
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the software
  • Circumvent device registration limits
  • Share accounts or credentials
  • Use Bavua to distribute malware
  • Interfere with other users' experience
  • Violate intellectual property rights

6. Intellectual Property

  • Bavua, its logo, and all related marks are trademarks of CodeGenTech.
  • You retain ownership of all content you mirror using Bavua.
  • You grant us no rights to your content—we cannot access it.

7. Disclaimers

  • Bavua is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We are not responsible for content transmitted between your devices.
  • Network conditions may affect performance; results may vary.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • CodeGenTech shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify CodeGenTech against claims arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of the Service
  • Content you transmit via Bavua
  • Your violation of third-party rights

10. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to use Bavua ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Town, South Africa, unless prohibited by your local consumer protection laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance.
